Automatic driving lessons
No clutch, no gear changes, no stalling at the lights on Eccles New Road. Learners usually reach test standard in fewer hours, which makes automatic cheaper overall. Your licence then covers automatic cars only.
Best for: nervous learners, returning drivers, anyone who wants the shortest route to a licence.

You are taught by the same DVSA approved instructor from your first lesson to your test, which is the single biggest difference between a small school and a national chain. No reassignments, no starting again with someone new halfway through.

You learn and test in the same car.
No surprises on test day. The car you sit your test in is the one you have driven every lesson, with mirrors and seat already set to your position.

Assessment lesson
One hour, £30. We check what you already know, you find out whether you get on, and you leave with an honest estimate of the hours you need. No commitment beyond that hour.

Weekly lessons
You pick the slots that suit your week and we hold them for you. Progress is tracked against the DVSA syllabus, so you always know which skills are signed off and which are next.
03
Test and pass
We book a mock test first. When you clear it, you sit the real thing in the same car you learned in, on routes you have already driven.

Areas covered
We teach on the roads you will be tested on.
Lessons run across Salford and West Manchester, which means you practise the same junctions, roundabouts and test routes your examiner uses. If your postcode is not listed, call and ask, we often cover the streets just outside it.
Test centres we prepare for: Salford (Manchester Central), Bolton, Bury and Sale.
Theory test
The theory test trips up more people than the practical.
You cannot book a practical until theory is passed, and hazard perception is where most people lose it. We send every learner a short revision plan covering the 15 topic bands and the hazard clips worth practising twice.
Questions
Before you book.
How long is each lesson?
Standard lessons are one hour, door to door. Most learners move to two hour lessons once they are driving independently, because it means more time on the road and less time re-settling. You choose which suits you.
Do I need a provisional licence before my first lesson?
Yes. You need a valid UK provisional licence with you in the car, and you must be able to read a number plate from 20 metres, with glasses or lenses if you use them. Apply on GOV.UK, it usually takes about a week.
How many lessons will I need?
The DVSA average is around 45 hours of professional tuition. Automatic learners often need fewer because there is no clutch to master. Your assessment lesson gives you a realistic estimate for your own situation rather than a sales figure.
Do you provide the car for my driving test?
Yes. You sit your test in the same dual controlled car you learned in, and your instructor takes you to the test centre and stays for the debrief afterwards. The test hire is charged as lesson time.
Can I use my own car for lessons?
Yes, if it is roadworthy, has a valid MOT, and carries insurance that covers driving tuition. Send us the details before your first lesson and we will confirm.
How do I book, and what if I need to cancel?
Call or text 07448 980188, or use the form below and we will reply the same day. Cancellations with at least 48 hours notice are moved free of charge. Short notice cancellations are charged for the booked time, since the slot cannot be filled.
Do you teach nervous drivers?
Regularly. We start in quiet residential areas, keep the first lessons short if that helps, and only move to busier roads when you say you are ready. Nobody gets pushed onto the A57 on day one.
